Your Neighborhood

Brookside is constructed according to a ‘Neighborhood within Neighborhood’ design. This design provides the Elder with the important benefits of: Safety, Security, Warmth, Comfort and Individual Care.

We recognize that there are many advantages to having Elders, Caregivers and Nurses living in close proximity to each other. This increases safety, security and quality of life. In an emergency, help is only a few steps away.

We believe Elders do not need to be isolated by living in 'Continuing Care Retirement Communities' or 'Campuses' to have this type of support.

At Brookside, it is a daily occurrence in which an Elder from one Brookside Home sits on the porch of the neighboring Brookside Home and interacts with the family next door, or watches the neighborhood kids play catch in the street. All of our lives were spent in neighborhoods and homes, Brookside is intent on preserving that through even the most trying illnesses.
