Aging is the accumulation of life stories, experiences and perspectives that have inherent value to the family, community and society.

Legacy is both the tool and message of a life on the world. Brookside is about ensuring that every life and its story has an everlasting and critically important influence on the generation to come.

Aging occurs naturally and without exception, through the process of passing life stages and situations. These life stories, experiences, and perspectives are contained in the word 'legacy'.

We believe Elders are uniquely equipped to accomplish things that adults can not. They are able to lay the foundation for the next two generations so they can build on their perspective and experiences. Brookside is creating a place where Elders can continue to build their legacy.
